We specialise in a non-communal boarding environment, designed to promote calm, privacy, and a true sense of security for each guest. Our guests enjoy their own private indoor unit complete with comfortable bedding, food and water bowls, litter tray, and a variety of toys for enrichment and play.
Purpose-built with feline comfort in mind, our climate-controlled cattery offers generously sized single, double, and family units, most featuring indoor-outdoor flow so your cat can stretch out in the sun or curl up in a cozy corner. With woodland and nature views, our guests have a front-row seat to the daily goings-on of birds, sheep, bunnies, and other visiting farm animals.
Whether your cat is outgoing or shy, playful or laid-back, we take the time to understand their individual needs. Our spaces are thoughtfully designed to promote natural behaviours, with cat trees, places to perch, hiding spots, and soft bedding that help each guest feel safe and content.

Taking over the family business over from mum Gail, Caroline brings a lifelong love of all animals and over 20 years of experience, along with a serious sense of responsibility and passion for the care of every cat.
Caroline's hands-on approach ensures that each guest receives plenty of personal attention, affection, and stimulation throughout the day. Whether your cat enjoys quiet naps, bird-watching, or some active playtime, at Hillcrest Cat Motel, your cat’s wellbeing is our sole focus, and we feel so privileged to provide a home away from home where they can thrive.
As your cats' visits become regular you will notice the same faces in reception and in your updates. Our team are all passionate cat lovers with various animal care and vet nursing qualifications who bond strongly with our regular guests.
Our excitement to see familiar furry faces is always genuine and gives us all such a deep sense of joy and satisfaction. Caroline is proud to say that staff turnover is exceptionally rare and she puts it down to the gorgeous personalities of her guests that keeps everyone coming back year after year.
